Student Assessment
It is vitally important that you understand all of the elements of the GCSE course in Product Design, the breakdown of tasks and the terminology used by the exam board. To best prepare you for this you will be filling in a coursework assessment booklet on a weekly basis within lessons.
Using your Assessment booklet
Each lesson you will be given your coursework booklet which you will be required to fill in once tasks are set and completed.
At the back of the booklet grades can be recorded for each task within the five key criteria sections:
1) Investigating the design context
2) Develop of design proposals
3) Making
4) Testing and evaluation
5) Communication

"Meetings will also take place during lessons between you and your teacher to discuss your progress, what mark you are currently working at and how improvements can be made".
